Phewwwwwwwww!!!!!

oh i have my exams within 2 days and here i am like a shameless creep blogging...but now since i am slogging hard since a week,i actually understand the meaning of the word EXPECTATIONS....
The kind of expectations in terms of fulfillin our responsibilities goes seems to be endless, especially in academics,,,,i am awake the whole night and get back to bed wen the clock strikes 4.00 in the morning but i am EXPECTED to get up by 9 and get back to books..and then study the whole day,y cos i have to score the cliche 90%...i am not complaining....but i guess thts the general perception of people these days....a student is not a student if he-she scores somewhere in 60's..When u enter the outside world u are EXPECTED to catch up with the pace tht the world is running at otherwise no one even cares to bother...When u are working meet the EXPECTATIONS of the work place...But in all these EXPECTATIONS do u v somewhr tend to forget what we are.???...we try to just fulfill things to satisfy others...i dont mind trying hard for 90's but dont be down if i dont reach thr...i dont mind running in the race but dont want to change by any chance...and i will still try hard to meet all the EXPECTATIONS...
PHEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

Mumbai Meri Jaan

The insomniac that i am, was listening to 92.7fm at 1.30 am,listening to the superb songs RJ anirudh plays on his show..he came up with this topic tht a few days back the firangi madonna had visited India and had planned a 4 day stay at Mumbai....And when she was here she didnt like the city much and returned back within 2 days reason: the pollution here, the roads, the traffic jam blah blah blah....this made Rj anirudh ask his listeners whether if they were to show their fellow mates mumbai on their first visit, would they be proud of the city or ashamed of it..and i was expecting every caller to say tht watever it may be they would be proud of this city where they live in...
but to my surprise except for one caller,every1 stated tht they wud be ashamed of showing the city around to their friends..
One caller said tht one of his friends compared Mumbai to the other metropolitian cities..He was amazed at the pollution,population,roads,trains...He said train mein toh aise log bharte hai jaise ghai bhes ka tabela ho..left me thinkin
After the show was over, gave it a thought Mumbai is called the city of dreams,if ppl think its a polluted, populated, unsafe city why do they come here to try their fortune...stay back at ur own neat and clean city..
Mumbai has dreams, spirit, oneness, brotherhood, never die attitude..the best examples are the floods on 26th and the bomb last
Sharukh Khan came from Delhi and made it big here in MUMBAI
Amitabh bachan came from Illahabad and is the most famous persona v have here..
it is upon how u stay here, how u look at it....if the ppl here are lil more careful, are aware of their duties, has civic sense then i am sure it wont be late tht they change their minds...
i have stayed for 20 years of my life in Mumbai i can bet that there cannot be any other city tht can match the standard mumbai has created in any aspects....

I go ahead

Ok so i m thru wid the first blog and have been appreciated for it...encouraged to write more...so here its for u all...

School Days versus College Days
As i am about to finish my 15 years of education within 3 months i think i am at my best to write about school vs college days..happen to see this debate in college and while listenin to the participants i had my own opinion about School days and college days..
School your second home...a home away from home rather...right frm u are 3 till you are 15(i m bad at maths so i excuse my self if the figures quoted are wrong).a place you grow up,initally first few days you cry(atleast i did :)...and then gradually all ur classmates become friends..teachers know u so well, guide u thruout...its like a family...but sumthin ppl tend to hate bout school is uniforms,homework,exams....but believe me wen its the time to bid a farewell to the school,u understand the imp...its works as an almameter in ones life...today i miss every bit of my school and wished had to be with it all thru my educational years...
And then comes College (who cares) kind of a place...
just come out from school one is excitedto go to college,u get to wear the clothes you want, use a N93,sport a trendy hairdo, have boyfriends and girl friends....and believe me every1 enjoys it...Bunking is more then ur attendance....i think coll shud have only students who have 75% bunking records will be promoted further...few start considerin them Smart rather oversmart...i think ur personality develops here...loved coll also...but ll miss school more than it...and now 6 months later wen i have graduated ll be in a better position to pen down bout SChool college and the Cruel reality outside....
